World Changing Response due 10/5

Please post your response to a case study from the World Changing book here. Remember to make it approximately a page long- one paragraph is too short!

Weekly Statement due 10/5

Andy Goldsworthy is one example of an artist whose work is created by, with and for nature. Feel free to write about how nature is reflected in other artists' work, as well as your own work. What stands out to you about Andy Goldsworthy's work, both in its effectiveness and its contradictions? What message do you think he's trying to get across? What do you feel about the temporary quality of his work- the fact that it slowly disintegrates or gets destroyed over time? Would you be willing to do that with your own art work? These are just some things to consider in your Weekly Statement, if you'd like.

You can view more of the Andy Goldsworthy Documentary, Rivers and Tides, on youtube:

Taking action through tiny steps or huge leaps!? Or not taking any action at all? Or just hoping that someone else does it.. ?
